Over the past couple of months Lilly has been clinging to certain toys and items around the house. She has always been obsessed with books, or anything that resembles a book. She will read in the entertainment center, in her bed, or while walking (this has resulted in lots of crashes). Over the past couple of weeks she has found a special place in her heart for her pink kitty. She sleeps with him and drags him around the house all day. This week she REALLY loves her new stroller(courtesy of Janae) and her beanie. She will sit in her stroller and watch Top Gun while holding and drinking her own bottle (yes, she is 15 months and refuses to hold her own bottle). Then came the beanie, and she fell in love. She wants to wears it everywhere and brings it to me when it falls off, so I can help her put it back on. She would where it to bed if she could. That’s my Lilly, taking after her mom with all her OCD tendencies.

Littly Pony
Today was a big day at our house! We have been doing alot of piggies in Lills hair lately, but it is now long enough for a pony! (The front wasnt quite long enough so we have to put an extra elastic there)

Maddox's Blessing
This last Saturday Megan and Mike blessed their baby. My family came down from Idaho for the big day. It was fun to get together with everyone. Maddox is such a good baby, he slept right through his blessing. He is so adorable!

Swimming
Before Maddox's blessing we went to my parents hotel and went swimming. Lilly loves swimming! She will go to the edge of the pool and try to jump in. She has no fear! She loved swimming with her uncles too!

This is what happens when you ask your husband to watch your child while you run to the store with your sister for 30 minutes. He of course watched the Jazz game instead of your child.

Snow Day
It snowed a ton this last week and Lilly loved looking at it from the window. So I decided to let her go out in the backyard and play. This was the first time she used her purple snowpants and mittens, and hopefully not the last. She tried to walk around but the snow was too deep, so she just sat in it and ate it.

Finally an Anniversary
So last weekend Gus and I finally went out for our anniversary. We did all the things we were supposed to do the weekend before, but couldnt because I got sick. We left Lilly with Gus's parents and were off to Salt Lake. We first hit the movies and saw National Treasure 2. Then we got take-out from California Pizza Kitchen and brought it to Little America where we stayed the night. It was great to spend some good time with my wonderful husband, though he was annoyed that I kept wanting to call and see how Lilly was doing. It was the first time I had left her overnight and I was freaking out! The next morning I got ready really fast so we could go get Lilly. When we got to Gus's parents at 11:00, I found out that Lilly had been up since 5:00 that morning. Gus's brother and sisters had taken shifts with her all morning since Gus's mom had to leave for church meetings at 6:30. What a little Naughty. I was grateful that Lilly had been so well taken care of by EVERYONE in the family.
