So last weekend Gus and I finally went out for our anniversary. We did all the things we were supposed to do the weekend before, but couldnt because I got sick. We left Lilly with Gus's parents and were off to Salt Lake. We first hit the movies and saw National Treasure 2. Then we got take-out from California Pizza Kitchen and brought it to Little America where we stayed the night. It was great to spend some good time with my wonderful husband, though he was annoyed that I kept wanting to call and see how Lilly was doing. It was the first time I had left her overnight and I was freaking out! The next morning I got ready really fast so we could go get Lilly. When we got to Gus's parents at 11:00, I found out that Lilly had been up since 5:00 that morning. Gus's brother and sisters had taken shifts with her all morning since Gus's mom had to leave for church meetings at 6:30. What a little Naughty. I was grateful that Lilly had been so well taken care of by EVERYONE in the family.

I am so glad you were finally able to have your anniversary. I remember the first time leaving Mac, Ryan wanted to go home, but as much as I loved him, I REALLY enjoyed my alone time. But it is funny that when we do leave him now, that is what you talk about! Hope all is going well.
