On Monday my eye started getting all red, puffy, and very painful. I was just thinking it was pink eye again. I thought thats what i had gotten like 6 times in the last 4 months. On Wednesday it started hurting REALLY bad, so I decided to go to the eye doctor. I dropped Lilly off at the in-laws and went to my appointment. Once I was there, I discovered that I have a Corneal Ulcer. I guess it is really serious, and if I had waited any longer to go in I could have had a way bigger problem and maybe even vision loss. So I have had to go into the doctor everyday since Wednesday and will have to a few days next week. I have been on eye antibiotics that I put in my eye every hour. They were really expensive too. Anyways, I am just glad that we caught it in time. Gus has been walking around all day with one eye shut, seeing what it would be like if I lost my vision in that eye. He thinks he is so funny. I dont find it very amusing.

Think of all the cool eye patches we could have made! Seriously, that sucks. With my limp and your eye, I think we are turning into pirate moms! I'd help you out if I could, but you know I can't, so I send my unhelpful love. Keep dropping those drops!!!!!!

I can absolutely see Gus doing that. I'm sorry he's not more sympathetic. I'm glad you caught it in time. Good luck with the recuperating.
