Over 650 applied, 70 were interviewed, 10 got the job, and Gus was one of them. He accepted a job offer with the government that starts June 23rd in Washington DC. So in the next 4 weeks we have to pack up our house and move across the country. I am freaking out! First of all we havent found a place to live. Everything is really small, super expensive, and doesnt have many of the things I would expect in a home. Such as a washer and dryer. Thinking about not having a washer and dryer in my house makes me want to have a panic attack. I am trying not to be such a baby about everything for Gus's sake, but I sometimes wonder if he should just move out there by himself. No, not really. It is just really hard to move away from everything I know. Washington DC is going to be alot different than Utah and Idaho. Lilly's childhood will definately be alot different than mine was. Everyone keeps telling me what a great experience it will be. And I know that it will be once I find a decent place to live and get settled out there. I am just not looking forward to packing up my house, saying goodbye, and flying on a plane with Lilly.

Oh goodness, that is exciting and sad! I really hope the best for you guys. Good luck with the house hunting.
Maybe you should just send Lilly with Gus and move back to Rexburg. Tempting?
Oh Jen! I can't believe that! Congrats to Gus, but yea its hard. I thought i was going to die when i moved to Arizona. It's hard but it will be a growing and strengthining experience! Good luck! So you probably won't be here for the wedding :( let me know! Love ya
Congratulations, I guess. But I'm really not happy about this.
Congrats Gus! Moving is no fun, but DC really is an awesome place!

Hey Jenny! Your little girl is adorable with that curly hair! How old is she? Anwyas, we are moving to NC in August so we won't be too far from you. We should try to get together sometime!
