Today we had a birthday party for Lilly. We invited 11 of her friends. Gus had the day off so I had a lot of help, which I desperately needed with 11 children.
The theme was "Lilly's Sweet Shop". These were the invitaions we sent out:
We bought a TON of candy and set up a sweet shop table. We also decorated the house and hung candy decorations and pom poms from the ceiling.
It was such a fun day for Lilly. We made candy lei's, played duck-duck-goose, had a bean bag toss, a scavenger hunt, a cake walk, ate cupcakes, and opened presents. After each game the kids each got a ticket to use at the end of the party to buy candy from "Lilly's Sweet Shop". Lilly even served them herself.

Jen, what a cute party! I love Lily's petticoat. We are in the midst of planning all our birthday parties. They're all smashed together! It's so much fun, but so crazy! Love seeing your cute family and what you're up to.
Lilly, it looks like you had a DELICIOUS birthday party ! You have so many friends too! It was sure fun to visit you last week, and have so much fun together! Did daddy get to see all the animal and ride pictures mommy took for him? I'm taking the sea shells you gathered for savanna to her in a few days! she will be excited1 I know she will share them with Berkley and Maddox. Jenny you are so creative! What a fun party. You did a fabulous job with all the decorations. I want to shop there, it is clean and pretty and colorful. Genevieve was very lucky to included, thanks. She hasn't stopped talking about all the fun and of course the CANDY!
Jenny! You seriously did such a good job with Lilly's party! I told Scott that was the coolest party I have ever gone to!!!:) You are such a good mommy to Lilly! She is so cute and we love it when we get to hang out with both of you!:)
Wow!! What a party. SUCH CUTE DECORATIONS!! You should go pro party planner! I will avoid showing this post to Sadie seeing she tells me EVERY DAY that she misses Lilly. Seeing all these sweets and Lilly at the same time would pretty much send her over the edge!!
Honestly, the pictures look like they came straight from a party blog - you know, the kind that you think there is no way a REAL party could be THAT cute!!! I kept showing Mike, and saying, I think Jen should be a party planner! AMAZING!...and the first picture of Lilly was so beautiful. You can be a photographer/party planner/candy shop owner! I have to go back and look at it all again!
