2 Months - Little Man
Leo (aka Little Man) is growing up SO fast! Here are his two month stats:
Weight: 11 lbs 6 oz (48%)
Length: 23 1/2 in (50%)
As you can see he is not little anymore! When he was born he was in the 5th percentile now he is in the 50th! He is sure catching up fast!
Leo's Acid Reflux has been getting worse. Much worse. He is constantly spitting up most of his bottle and crying. He also has been waking up with a hoarse voice in the mornings because the acid is burning his throat. I feel so bad for him. We have tried a few different medicines and we have an appointment with a Gastro Intestinal Specialist this week. Hopefully we can get things figured out so that he can feel better.
He cries a lot but also has happy times throughout the day. At nine weeks he finally started smiling! We were a little worried because they usually hit that milestone around 6 weeks. The Pediatrician said that if he didn't smile by 12 weeks then they would start running tests to see if there was something wrong. We are so glad there is not! He doesn't do it often but when he does it melts your heart.
He definitely already has his likes and dislikes. He loves to snuggle. His favorite place to fall asleep is on your chest. He loves his binky, he loves his car seat, and he loves his bottle. He eats ALL day. He hates sleeping alone, getting dressed, taking a bath, getting his diaper changed, and he hates it when his sister mauls him. He also has a hard time falling asleep for his naps. Lets just say I spend TONS of time rocking him while watching Vampire Diaries on my iPhone!
Even with the crying and fussiness I LOVE this little man! After trying so hard and long to get him here I will take what I can get.

He is so beautiful! And you can definitely call little boys that! I've got three myself:)
He looks just like Lilly! What a cutie:-) I also love your house. Is it in Woodbridge like you previously wanted? It's so spacious and bright! I bet you love the change. We moved when I was sick with George's pregnancy and Sadie didn't have any friends either. It was hard! I feel your pain:-) Good luck with the transition period and with that acid reflux.
Anson has reflux too. He's been on reflux meds and has had the hoarse cough. Makes me so sad. We are just now starting to get to where he doesn't scream for an hour during naps...nap time is the hardest!! I hope he gets feeling better!
I still don't smile and I'm almost 30, so Leo is totally normal. He is so cute and reminds me of Lilly. You are are the best mom ever.
Oh my heavens! those blue eyes and those eye lashes! he's so cute Jenny! He's almost as big as Brooke! at her last appointment she was 12 lbs. I'm so happy he's healthy and is smiling!
wait never mind...she was 15 lbs. ha ha!
Your little man is so cute! I love these updates... he and Dallin were almost the exact same size at two months. And he has beautiful eye lashes! :)
Jenny! He is gorgeous!! What a stunner. Wow. I can't believe what you have been through this past year...well, years, really. I know I haven't seen you in forever--has it been over a year??--but I have gotten updates from others and was just so so happy to read about your little Leo.
Your house looks great. I hope you are all settling in well. Remember you don't have to feel grateful and happy 24 hours a day. Having a newborn is HARD (so is having a 5-year-old...so is moving to a new place...) no matter what hardships you've endured before and you don't need to feel guilty at all for being a normal mom. I don't know why I just added that but felt like I needed to. You are amazing. Lilly and Leo, Chris, Jax and Rook are all so lucky!!
