So today has been an eventful day. First, Lilly had her first taste of spagetti. Yes, her first. I hate it when she gets dirty and therefore never give her food that is very messy. She absolutely loved it!
Second, I gave her a bath since she was so messy. While she was swimming around I realized she has never had a bubblebath! I am great when it comes to needs, but with wants and fun things I struggle. So I cracked open some bubblebath and gave her some bubbles in her bath. She liked them but was also a little scared of them.
Lastly, as I was rinsing the bubbles off Lilly she stood up and slipped, hitting her face on the side of the tub. She gushed blood and screamed for about 20 seconds and then wanted down so she could play with her toys. Nothing seems to stop her. A few minutes later I noticed that her lip was swollen and a little blue. These pictures dont do it justice. The rest of the day wasnt quite as eventful, we went to Target and cleaned the house.

You have some great bad mothering skills. Lilly's lip looks so swollen, ouch! It totally breaks my heart when they get hurt.
Ouchie! Your not a bad mother at all. Things like this happen regardless of how well you watch them. I learned to back off and they learn the "no-no's" faster. I just love your pictures of Lilly, she is so dang cute.
If you're a bad mom I don't know what I am. Tate has never had a bubble bath and he hasn't eaten real spaghetti yet. I also can't remember the number of times he's fallen and cut his lip or something in his mouth. Just so you know, the next time she slips and falls it's just as hard on you.
Where's the picture of YOU eating spaghetti? Lilly needs to get better with the camera.
